Julie Graham began her art career in 1976 at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh under the tutelage of Decorative Arts Curator, David Owsley. From 1978 to 1996, she was an associate at Paula Cooper Gallery in New York, with five of those years as Gallery Director. During her time at Paula Cooper Gallery, Julie worked closely with artists such as Lynda Benglis, Robert Gober, Jon Borofsky, Donald Judd, Carl Andre, Robert Mangold, Joel Shapiro, Elizabeth Murray, Jennifer Bartlett, Jackie Winsor, and Alan Shields. Julie was head of the day-to-day management of gallery operations including overseeing a range of museum and gallery exhibitions around the world. Besides her strong foundation in the arts, Julie has served on the boards of The Kitchen, New York; Family Centers, Connecticut (present); and Overbrook Foundation, New York (present). She is also on the science advisory committee of the New York Botanical Garden, and is involved in a number of organizations that promote the environment, human rights issues and social services.

Maria Friedrich began her career in the arts in 1973 as a recipient of an NEA Scholarship to work in the curatorial departments of the Minneapolis Institute of Fine Arts. She joined the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, in 1978 as Coordinator of Educational Programs for blockbuster exhibitions, such as Pompeii 79. Two years later she was appointed Department Head of the Museum of Fine Arts at Faneuil Hall through its tenure until 1981. Maria then joined Impressions Gallery, Boston, as Co- Director. By invitation, she served as guest curator for Irene G. and Phillip F. Faneuil Gallery, Massachusetts General Hospital (Boston), and at the DeCordova Museum (Lincoln, Mass.). In New York, Maria served as a curator at The Research Institute for the Study of Man (New York). Since 1986, she has organized tours of top museum collections, artist studios, and galleries for private individuals and groups as a private advisor. Over the course of her professional life Maria has been a member of, or assisted in, numerous professional organizations and social causes, such as ART TABLE, Independent Curators International (ICI), Women in Need, the Brooklyn Museum Contemporary Arts Council, The Prospect Park Alliance, and Children International.
